Dr. Beth Gurney started working in veterinary hospitals in 1982 and graduated from Colorado State University with her DVM in 1996. After graduation, she worked in a mixed small animal/equine practice in Phoenix, Arizona for four years prior to moving to the Rogue Valley in 2000. She has extensive experience in both internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, and has pursued post graduate training in diagnostic ultrasound. Dr. Gurney and her husband have two children. She enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. Her border collie mix Matilda helps keep her boston terrier, Cricket, out of trouble!
Nic was born and raised in Medford. He started volunteering with our team in April 2009, and is now a proud member! He loves animals, enjoys traveling to new countries, camping, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, tennis, riding his motorcycles, and will be pursuing an MBA after completing his BS in Biomedicine.
Michelle was born and raised in the Rogue Valley. She has over 10 years experience as a Veterinary Technician and has loved every minute of it. A Mother of 15 year old twin boys, she enjoys spending time with her kids on the base ball field, Camping, horse back riding and just overall being outdoors.

ACVH Welcomes Janielle!
Originally born and raised in Southern California, Janielle moved to Oregon in June 2010 with a career in animals in mind. She attended Oregon State University and graduated in 2014 with a Bsc in Animal Sciences and a minor in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences. She then enrolled in Veterinary Technology at Portland Community College and earned her veterinary technician license in 2016. She has an interest in wildlife, exotic, and shelter medicine. On her free time she enjoys drawing, taxidermy, gaming, geocaching, reading and spending time with her fiancee and her pets.
