Dr. Beth Gurney started working in veterinary hospitals in 1982 and graduated from Colorado State University with her DVM in 1996. After graduation, she worked in a mixed small animal/equine practice in Phoenix, Arizona for four years prior to moving to the Rogue Valley in 2000. She has extensive experience in both internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, and has pursued post graduate training in diagnostic ultrasound. Dr. Gurney and her husband have two children. She enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. Her two kitties keep her out of trouble!
Nic was born and raised in Medford. He started volunteering with our team in April 2009, and is now a proud member! He loves animals, enjoys traveling to new countries, riding his motorcycles, is an avid outdoorsman and photographer, and is pursuing an MBA following a B.S. in biomedicine.
Michelle was born and raised in the Rogue Valley. She has over 10 years experience as a Veterinary Assistant and has loved every minute of it. A Mother of teenage twin boys, she enjoys spending time with her kids on the baseball field, camping, horseback riding and just overall being outdoors.
Originally born and raised in Southern California, Janielle moved to Oregon in June 2010 with an animal career in mind! She attended Oregon State University and graduated in 2014 with a BSC in Animal Sciences and a minor in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences. Following her departure, she enrolled in a Veterinary Technology program at Portland Community College and earned her veterinary technician license in 2016. She has an interest in wildlife, exotic, and shelter medicine. In her free time she enjoys drawing, studying anatomy, gaming, geocaching, reading and spending time with her husband and her pets!
Amber was born in Seattle, Washington and moved to Southern Oregon in 2000. She enjoys hiking, cooking, snowboarding, and attended Oregon State University majoring in history and education!
